State Rise: From Ashes
A strategic RTS about state formation and systemic decision-making
State Rise: From Ashes is a real-time strategy game dedicated to building a state from the ground up. The player develops territory, builds infrastructure, shapes the economy and social institutions, and manages internal and external challenges. The project is created as a deep, systemic RTS where every action has consequences, and the world responds to the player’s choices naturally and consistently.
Key Features:
-
Statehood from scratch
You begin with a small territory and limited resources, gradually turning it into a full-fledged state with its own economy, society, and system of governance.
-
Infrastructure and logistics
Develop roads, transport hubs, energy systems, production chains, and services. The efficiency of logistics directly affects the economy, supply, and the resilience of the state.
-
Deep internal policy
Manage population needs, maintain order, provide services, balance the budget, and build a sustainable development model.
-
Ideology, culture, and media
Shape societal values, define political direction, manage the information environment, and influence public processes.
-
Reactive external environment
Climate, seasons, and natural conditions affect development pace, transportation, agriculture, and resource availability.
-
Military campaigns and geopolitics
Thought-out tactics, supply lines, army structure, and global state interaction form a major module currently in development.
Development Approach
The game is created manually from scratch: every system undergoes multi-stage development — from implementation to revision and optimization. At the core lie principles of realism, interconnected mechanics, and accessibility for a wide range of players.
About the Developer
The project is developed by the independent studio The Statecraft Bureau. The studio focuses on deep strategy games and systemic design solutions. Development is open and supported by regular devlog posts covering progress on transport systems, economy, technologies, and state behavior models.
The Future of the Project
After release, the game will receive active support: planned improvements, patches, expansions, and content updates. The goal is to create a long-lasting project that evolves together with its community.
